IGameBoy Project Retro Mario Style ,battle of the bosses testers feedback.

Another round of beta-testing and a couple of new suggestions for iGameboy Super Mario type game where passed around. Most beta-testers said other super mario type games like pizza boy lacked boss battles. Most games offer just one or no boss battles just levels and achivements.
      So now we are working on some bosses for the game using the suggestions from the beta-testers. The goal is to make the boss battles fun but not too tough. We have already made a land boss and flying boss which the beta-testers love. We are looking into more ideas that the beta-testers had for the other boss battles. Also they wanted the coins to be used to buy in game extra"s like special levels that you only can unlock using coins , but these levels would be separate from the main game.

Beta Testers feedback

After completing a couple of levels we had the Beta-testers who signed on get thier 1st crack at the game. I was pleased with the initial response from the Beta testers is that they loved little things, like the fact that you could power-up,grow big, and smash bricks. A couple of them mentioned that with other developers games that where similar to mario , there was no real upgrade or power-up. They felt this game nails the true Super Mario Bros feel on the iphone/ipod.
Then I had asked them about levels length and asked for a tally if they like the shorter levels 1-4 minutes in length or the longer levels 5-10minutes. Most said the shorter levels were better , just make alot of shorter levels was the concensus.
Now the Beta-testers are discussing the level unlock method whether should it be you just beat the stage or should you reach a certain highscore. More info on that subject when the Beta-testers decide. Follow this blog so you can keep posted on any new developments.

IGameBoy Project Retro Mario Style , power-ups and similarities.

                                           Ok I promised to keep you up to date with news and screenshots as the game is being developed. Your charactor will have a power-up to grow 2x as large and double-jump. Also when your powered up you can smash bricks. The game will be multiple levels with boss battles 1 photo here shows one of the earlier bosses you will face.
           So far the game is comming out great and the beta testers are loving it. Most of them think the game really nails the Super Mario bros feel , easpecially sine you get to smash bricks , collect coins, and stomp out the bad guys.Follow the blog and I will continue to keep you posted on this games progress and keep updating screenshots and content on this wonderful event.

iGameBoy Project underway Retro Mario Style Platform Action game

I am please to announce for all those retro Mario type platform gamers a major iGameboy project is underway. While the project is still under development here are the 1st look screenshots of this iGameboy project. Iam working the hardest I ever have in my life to make this as awesome as I can for iphone/ipod gamers. I want iphone/ipod gamers who grew up on excllent platform games to have yet another solid and epic game to put in their hands and play. I also have 10 beta testers signed on for this major project and might add on more in the future. I will update this blog with new screenshots and content as I work on this game and keep you posted on its progress!! The dream of having a solid substitute for Mario bros game on iphone will be a reality in the future.
